{"id":890,"date":"2022-08-03T10:40:20","date_gmt":"2022-08-03T10:40:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/magdalenaball.com\/?p=890"},"modified":"2022-08-30T11:53:22","modified_gmt":"2022-08-30T11:53:22","slug":"whale-tales","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/magdalenaball.com\/?p=890","title":{"rendered":"Whale Tales!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/lighthousearts.org.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Whales-Tale-Exhibition.png\" width=\"229\" height=\"224\" \/>I was invited to submit a poem to this stunning exhibition at <a href=\"https:\/\/lighthousearts.org.au\">Lighthouse Arts<\/a> to celebrate the migration of whales along the east coast of Australia. \u00a0My poem, titled &#8220;Migaloo&#8221; (after the beautiful and well-known Albino <a href=\"https:\/\/www.migaloo.com.au\">humpback)<\/a>\u00a0will be printed either A1 or A2, framed and exhibited beside stunning artworks about whales.\u00a0There will be photographs, print works, paintings and other media on display including artworks by Aboriginal artists Emily Lloyd, Siarn Staley, Saretta Fielding, Wanda Matthews and her sister Charmon accompanying the Awabakal whale story provided by Bronwyn and Shane Frost.
