Stop Press: “Radiology” has been selected to be included in the 2016 Best Australian Science Writing anthology!
Rob Walker and I have worked together on a number of collaborative poems and one of them, titled “Radiology”, has been published in this month’s Medical Journal of Australia. It’s an unlikely venue for poetry, but why not? While poetry may not have the specific healing efficacy of say, an antibiotic, it reaches places that standard medicine can’t (“From ranches of isolation and the busy griefs”) and opens a perception into experience that is critical to all disciplines.
